El acceso a Playa Palancar es por el Club de Playa Palancar y no tiene costo. El aeropuerto más cercano es el de Cancún, de ahí a playa del Carmen es alrededor de una hora. Si cuentas con automóvil puedes conducir por la carretera 307 México-Cancún, la cual está en muy buenas condiciones o puedes tomar un autobús desde la central de camiones de Cancún.
